Frequently Asked Questions

Educational Initiatives (EI) is an ed-tech company that leverages cutting-edge research and technology-based solutions to revolutionise how children learn in the K-12 education space. Our vision is to create a world in which children everywhere learn with understanding. Our goal is to reach a multitude of children across different strata of society, irrespective of the kind of education they are receiving today or the curriculum they are following.
We achieve this goal by building products that focus on diagnostic assessment and personalised learning. Our platforms cull relevant and customised intelligence from over five billion data points to deliver content in the form of questions, activities, games and videos to assess students learning levels and provide explanations, feedback and learning inputs for all stakeholders. This data treasure has been built over two decades and is one-of-its-kind in the education industry.
We believe in a scientific approach to conceptualising, designing and building our products. This stems from a dream to discover a SCIENCE OF LEARNING that can systematically be made available to teachers. EI's mission is to build this ‘Science of Learning’ which provides a repository of data and techniques that can be used by teachers to help children learn better - a big improvement over today's situation where teachers struggle alone to help students learn. EI's work on assessment and learning has already helped create banks of misconceptions, common student errors and the like and these are being shared as usable insights.

To ensure that your child takes a fair test that truly is representative of his/her learning levels, you need to ensure that they are well-prepared for the test, relatively relaxed before the test and focussed during the test. ASSET SUPERTEST measures understanding and parents should encourage the kids to do their best. Any mistakes that students make are also opportunities to learn. ASSET SUPERTEST has a re-attempt option for students to help them track improvements.

We encourage the test to be completed in one sitting. In an event where you need to pause the test, you will be able to resume the test from where you left. To keep the sanctity of the test and to be fair to all the test-takers, the timer will be calculating the time elapsed from the first time the test was started. Whenever the test is resumed, the timer will show the difference between the total test duration and the time elapsed since the test started for the student as the remaining time available to complete the test.

In an event where you are not able to take the test because of a power or internet outage, you will be able to resume the test from where you left. To keep the sanctity of the test and to be fair to all the test-takers, the timer will be calculating the time elapsed from the first time the test was started. Whenever the test is resumed, the timer will show the difference between the total test duration and the time elapsed since the test started for the student as the remaining time available to complete the test.

The retry/re-attempt option is an opportunity to keep doing the test repeatedly till you get answers to all questions right. This helps build understanding in students. The ideal time to re-attempt any test is after you revise or study a chapter again. You will see your score after each re-attempt.
Scores for the re-attempt of any test will not be considered for the certificates.

The reports are designed to show the score of the latest attempt.

There are various formats of questions each with its advantages and disadvantages. Some of the advantages of multiple-choice questions is that it allows us to analyse questions very quickly and give good insights to users. Not only do students find it easy to answer multiple-choice questions (making the test less stressful), but the wrong answer options or distractors give an insight into the learning of the student.

We have taken great care to include those questions that are important for students to learn. We encourage you to attempt the questions anyway. Remember you can always share your feedback at the end of the test and we encourage you too. Parents can also email us at assetsupertest@ei-india.com.

Please write to assetsupertest@ei-india.com to report the question. Please include test and question details in the email.

The questions are designed in such a way that calculators are not needed. Students should try to work out the problems on a sheet of paper or in a notebook like you would in a school test.

Your package is valid for 1 month (4-pack test) or 1 year (52-pack test). You can upgrade your class once during this period.
